2007: ST Telemedia welcomes Qatar Telecom as a new shareholder of Asia Mobile Holdings
ST Telemedia welcomed Qatar Telecom (Qtel) QSC as a new shareholder of Asia Mobile Holdings (AMH) in March. Qtel holds an approximate 25% equity stake in AMH. ST Telemedia remains the controlling shareholder with an approximate 75% equity stake in the company.

Later that year, Asia Mobile Holdings acquired a 49% stake in Shenington Investment Pte Ltd which holds interests in Cambodia’s Mfone and Lao Telecommunications Company Limited.
