ST Telemedia sponsored the screening of the premiere of Mad About English! Singapore’s first locally-made documentary feature that was produced as a full theatrical commercial release. Directed by a Singaporean filmmaker and shot in China, Mad About English! is a docu-comedy on China’s love affair with the English language following its successful bid for the 2008 Summer Olympics. It tracks the inspiring and heart-warming efforts of a city preparing to host the world by learning a once-forbidden tongue, the English language.
