Freddy Teoh is First Vice President & Head of Risk Management at ST Telemedia. He is responsible for the company's Enterprise Risk Management processes and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) processes, and supporting its strategy formulation and business planning.
Freddy brings with him more than 33 years of professional experience spanning accounting and finance, consulting, external audit, risk management, and regional internal audit in leading accounting firms and U.S. multi-nationals.
In his career with PwC and KPMG, he was the team leader for the outsourced internal audit for Asia Pacific for Compaq Computers (now HP). At KPMG, as Associate Director, he held a key role in building up the internal audit department as well as launching enterprise risk management and control self-assessment services. He was also the sole lead co-ordinator in Asia Pacific for the roll-out of Sarbanes-Oxley 404 for British Petroleum.
Prior to joining ST Telemedia, he was the VP for Finance and Infrastructure for LASALLE College of the Arts where he was responsible for the finance, risk management, IT as well as building capacity for the College facilities. Freddy holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from the University of New South Wales and is a CPA of Singapore.
